About Magizh

Regenerating Farms.
Inspiring People.
Creating Happiness.

Every meaningful journey begins with a simple belief. Ours began with the belief that healthy soil can create healthier lives, stronger communities, and a sustainable future.

Who We Are

Happiness Through
Sustainable Living

Magizh (மகிழ்) means happiness in Tamil. We believe true happiness comes from living in harmony with ourselves, our families, society, and nature.

What began as a personal journey into regenerative farming has evolved into a collaborative ecosystem that combines scientific research, farmer education, sustainable technologies, and practical field implementation.

Today, Magizh works with farmers, institutions, and communities across India to regenerate soil, improve biodiversity, and build resilient farming systems for future generations.

Our Journey

From Curiosity to Regeneration

Every milestone represents years of learning, collaboration, and practical field experience that shaped Magizh into what it is today.

2018

A Small Beginning

Our journey began with a simple balcony garden. It was an experiment that sparked a deeper curiosity about growing food naturally and living sustainably.

2020

Learning Through Practice

The balcony garden evolved into a kitchen garden. During this period, we explored organic farming, natural farming, and the science of soil biology through continuous observation and experimentation.

2022

Working with Farmers

With support from Greenway Living, we started implementing regenerative farming practices on real farms, translating research into practical field solutions.

2023

Sharing Knowledge

We introduced bio-input recommendations and began conducting training programs, helping farmers understand the science behind regenerative agriculture.

2024

Growing Across India

Our work expanded to more than 500 acres across different parts of India, collaborating closely with over 30 farmers to build resilient farming systems.

2025

Transforming Coconut Farms

Our focused work in coconut cultivation led to the conversion of more than 100 acres into multilayer organic farming systems. We also introduced the concept of Self Development Farms.

2026

Magizh

Years of research, collaboration, and field implementation came together under one identity—Magizh, bringing together science, sustainability, and regenerative agriculture.

Vision & Mission

Guided by Purpose

Our vision inspires the future we seek to create, while our mission defines how we work every day to make that future a reality.

Our Vision

To create a world where healthy soil nurtures healthy plants, healthy food, healthier people, and thriving communities through regenerative agriculture and sustainable living.

Our Mission

To combine scientific research, regenerative farming, farmer education, ecosystem restoration, and practical field implementation to create resilient farms that benefit both people and nature.

Our Guiding Principles

The Values That Shape Every Decision

These principles guide every recommendation, every training programme, and every regenerative farming initiative we undertake.

Regeneration Before Extraction

Healthy farms are created by restoring soil, increasing biodiversity, and giving back to nature rather than continuously extracting from it.

Science with Nature

Our recommendations combine scientific observation, soil microbiology, and field research with nature's own regenerative processes.

Farmers First

Every solution we develop is designed to improve the livelihood, confidence, and long-term success of farmers and their families.

Whole Ecosystem Thinking

A farm is more than crops. Soil, water, plants, insects, animals, and people form one interconnected ecosystem.

Continuous Learning

Every season and every field teaches us something new. Learning, testing, and improving are part of our journey.

Happiness Through Sustainability

True happiness comes from living in harmony with ourselves, our communities, and the natural world.

The People Behind Magizh

Passion, Purpose & Partnership

Magizh is built on collaboration between entrepreneurs, researchers, educators, and farmers working together to regenerate ecosystems and improve livelihoods.

Balamurugan CT
Co-Founder

Balamurugan CT

An entrepreneur in the food packaging industry, Balamurugan has always believed that businesses should create a positive environmental impact. His search for sustainable alternatives led him to regenerative agriculture, where he envisioned farming as a solution for healthier ecosystems and stronger communities. His continued support has enabled years of research, field implementation, and farmer outreach.

Radika Balamurugan
Co-Founder

Radika Balamurugan

Radika has played a vital role in nurturing Magizh from its early stages. By dedicating land for research and supporting field implementation, she helped create a living laboratory where regenerative farming practices could be studied, refined, and demonstrated to farmers.
